Five U.S. M1 Helmets, Including an Early Fixed Bale Shell

All five are complete with steel shell and pressed liner, and all but one with mixed canvas and leather webbing. The fixed bale helmet has a liner modified with a hand-made Major/Lt. Colonel star on the front, hand-marked "R.R. BUSH" and a pair of sponges secured inside the crown with a thin brass strip, possibly field modifications. Overall condition is fair, with some lost webbing and scattered wear.
